The rainy season
The rainy season is called TSUYU in Japan. The rainy season was declared officially to have begun in the Kanto district yesterday. It was six days earlier than an average year and it was twenty days earlier than last year.
Tsuyu is a meteorological phenomenon, and it is peculiar to East Asia. It is the point of the rainy season, the rain does not hard but it continues for a long term. So you need to mind the fungi, mold and food poisoning.

Medicinal herb botanical garden
There is the medicinal herb botanical garden in the College of Pharmacy of Nihon University in Narashinodai.
There are about 1,800 kinds of plants that medicinal herbs and poisonous plants and there are hothouse of tropical vegetation and specimen room as well.
The botanical garden is opened only five times a year. That is getting popular each time. Next open is from 12:00 to 15:30 on 7th of June(Sat), it is unusual chance to see and have a wonderful experience for you.

習志野台にある日本大学薬学部に薬用植物園があり、年々人気が高まってきています。
ここで見られる植物は約1,800種。 薬効のあるもの、有毒なものが植えられているほか、熱帯植物のある温室、標本室もあります。
今年の一般公開は、６月７日（土）１２時〜１５時半です。 この植物園は１年に５回しか公開されませんので、この機会をお見逃しなく！！

The first calligraphy
We made a plan for foreigners who want to know about Japanese culture, that is the first calligraphy.
Calligraphy is one of the traditional Japanese culture. You could feel Japanese spirits during writing.
You can

◆ write your name by Kanji
Japanese instructor is going to teach you, so you can learn calligraphy in Japanese. You can ask in English as well. It is a wonderful experience!!

BBQ party
We had first event. It was very exciting day. I glad to meet new friends.
But we had many trobles. Some people canseled this morning, the weather wasn't expectation;rainy, cloudy, shower, rainy... and someone left a write bag for somewhere.

いろいろな出来事がいっきに巻き起こったのよーな１日で、
変な汗をたくさんかいてしまいました。
ドタキャンされたり、予報が外れ急に雨が降ってきたり、
白い紙袋が行方不明になったり・・・
とても楽しく充実していました。
参加してくれた人たちに、とても感謝。出会えてことに感謝。
人生っていいな〜。

Golden week
We call "Golden week" or "Big holidays" that is from the end of April to the biginning of May, because there are many public holidays. It is longer when there are Sunday and Saturday before or after that.
But verywhere will be crowded, so just relax in my home is the best anyway...
